A senior journalist, political analyst and a Penguin author. She has worked as an editor of BBC Urdu service in London for more than two decades.  Nayeema has been writing weekly columns for the news International, the Countercurrents.org, FEMASIA UK and the Greater Kashmir. Currently, she is associated with the Independent Urdu (UK) as a permanent columnist.
